Upcoming Event: WABA’s Free Bike Ride

Ride for Responsibility

Saturday, January 28th, 2012
18th St NW and Columbia Rd, Adams Morgan

To ring in 2012 and to showcase Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA)’s Resolution to Ride Responsibly, WABA is inviting you to join them for the New Year’s Resolution Ride on January 28th.   Everyone at Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) is resolving this year to ride more responsibly and we want everybody who rides a bike to join us in this effort.

This FREE, 6 mile-long social ride will start at 10:00 AM on the corner of 18th St. NW and Columbia Rd. NW, in front of the Capital Bikeshare station, and will go through DC’s latest bicycle infrastructure and spend some time in pedestrian-friendly areas (Columbia Heights, Chinatown.)

Sign the Resolution to Ride Responsibly.

Plan for cold weather and to spend about an hour riding around the city.

For more information, and to register for this FREE ride, please visit WABA’s event page
